Here are links for participants in the 2003 Asilomar Conference Hero’s Journey session. Some of them are not complete, so check back every few days. I will prepare them as I have time. This will take me some time, so don’t give up hope. Just keep checking back.
Ritual: Power, Healing and Community, Patrice Malidoma Some
Awakening the Hero Within, Carol Pearson
The Hero Within, Carol Pearson
Researching Lived Experience, Max Van Manen
(This is a psychology book, but I read some quotes from it at the seminar. You might find the first chapter valuable for the phenomenological approach to teaching that I presented.)
Adventures in Reading, Vol 1, Evan Lodge and Marjorie Braymer, eds. (Harcort Brace Jovanovich, 1963)
(This is the short story book I mentioned that had several good journey-type stories including “The Apprentice,” Dorothy Canfield; “Pride of Seven,” Robert Krpps, and “The Long Winter,” Walter Havighurst. I don’t know if it is still in print. Actually, you can probably find excellent stories in almost any good anthology.)

“The Things You Carry” Activity: Full explanation and instructions (done)
